The Mountain Boss Fizz

Ingredients:

*1.5 oz gin (or vodka, if you prefer)

*1/2 oz elderflower liqueur 

*3/4 oz fresh lime juice

*2 oz sparkling water (or soda water)

*A dash of pine or rosemary simple syrup (recipe below)

*Garnish: rosemary sprig or twist of lime

Instructions:

Shake the gin, elderflower liqueur, lime juice, and rosemary syrup with ice.

Strain into a highball glass over fresh ice.

Top with sparkling water.

Garnish with a rosemary sprig — bonus points if you lightly torch it for drama.
