Drink Recipes

*Or how I tricked a conservation research intern into believing coffee and chocolate were an essential component of Earth’s mating rituals Ingredients:
 -6oz Black Coffee -1oz Irish Cream -1oz chocolate liqueur  Directions:
 -Mix all ingredients together. -Top with whip cream. -Sprinkle with cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom

Ingredients:
 *1 bottle bold red wine   
 *2 cups pomegranate juice
 *¼ cup Cointreau or orange liqueur
 *2 cups sparkling water
 Directions:
 *In a pitcher, combine the bold red wine, pomegranate juice and Cointreau or orange liqueur. Stir well.
 *Chill the mixture in the fridge for 4 hours, preferably overnight. 
 *Add sparkling water to the chilled mixture. Stir well.

Ingredients *3 ounces (6 tablespoons) whole milk *1 ½ ounces (3 tablespoons) bourbon whiskey *½ ounce (1 tablespoon) brandy *½ ounce (1 tablespoon) simple syrup *½ teaspoon vanilla  •  For the garnish: grated nutmeg, star anise (optional) Instructions *Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker. Fill it with ice and shake it until cold. *Strain the drink into a lowball glass. Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg and if desired, star anise.

Ingredients * 3 oz Mulled Cider * 1 oz Aperol * 3 oz Sparkling Wine or Prosecco  Instructions * Chill the mulled cider and sparkling wine.  *In a coupe or fluted glass pour the Aperol, then the chilled, mulled cider.  *Top with your sparkling wine.

Ingredients * Aromatic Bitters * 2 ounces Bourbon Whiskey * 1 ounce Pine Simple Syrup Instructions * Combine pine simple syrup and bitters in the bottom of a rocks glass. * Top with bourbon and large ice cube. * Garnish with pine branches.

Ingredients: *1 1/2 oz vodka *1/2 oz triple sec or Grand Marnier *1/2 oz cranberry juice *2 oz Prosecco Directions: Combine the vodka, triple sec, cranberry juice, lime juice and some crushed ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously. Pour into a pretty glass. Top with Champagne. Garnish, serve and enjoy!

Ingredients *Bottle of stout *Bottle of hard cider *1 shot Fireball ( or Irish whiskey) Instructions Using a pint glass, fill half the glass with cider pouring quickly to create a head( it’s important to do this layer first). To layer the stout, take a soup spoon and turn it upside down touching it to the inside of the glass. Gently, pour the stout over the spoon so that it slowly pours down the inside of the glass.
